Nuneaton Aeromodellers is primarily a RC Fixed Wing model flying club although limited helicopter, control line and other model flying disciplines are allowed. The club founded in 1957 currently has around 70 members of all ages and skill levels. We are fortunate to have two excellent flying fields located within the Nuneaton and Hinckley area that are available for flying 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
The club has designated Trainers to assist if required and BMFA Club Examiners who will be able to help members get ready for and take the A and B Achievement Certificates.
The club is run by an elected committee made up from its members. Formal meetings are held monthly to discuss the ongoing running of the club and allow members to have a chat over a drink. All members must also be members of the BMFA. BMFA flying guidelines and best practices are fully observed and we use the 35MHz Band. This all helps to provide a well run, safe and supportive environment where members can enjoy their flying.
